    These list guidelines have been instated to preserve the spirit of the LOTS community. In consideration of ALL members, a "No Tolerance" policy has been effected and has been put to use when needed. Please review these guidelines.

LOTS MEMBER GUIDELINES
    These list guidelines have been instated to preserve the spirit of the LOTS community. In consideration of ALL members, a "No Tolerance" policy has been effected and has been put to use when needed. Please review these guidelines.

1.) Chain letters/prayer requests ARE NOT ALLOWED. This includes all messages that ask you to forward it along to others, or to electronically "sign" the email and forward it. You WILL be immediately
removed and banned from the community.

2.) The ever popular eGroups rule: NO SPAMMING. Do NOT advertise a commercial product on this list. Also, DO NOT request members to join a "panel" or website that pays you (in perks, cash or prizes) for using their service. This ALSO INCLUDES asking members to join a new or exisiting eGroup. VIOLATORS WILL BE IMMEDIATELY REMOVED AND BANNED.

3.) Messages that are tasteless and/or derogatory ARE NOT ALLOWED. Please keep posts relating to sexual content limited and conservative. Messages that aim to insult another member of the group are ALSO not allowed. Disagree with the opinion without attacking the person.

4.) Messages that contain HARSH foul language ARE NOT ALLOWED. You may replace key letters with a symbol of some sort (ex: #$%!). PLEASE WATCH YOUR LANGUAGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

5.) Mail Settings - You are expected to participate in this community. Settings on "Individual Email" and "Daily Digest" are acceptable, however changing your setting to "Web Only/No Mail" without prior
notification to the list owner (LOTS-owner@egroups.com) will cause your removal from the list. You are welcome to rejoin at any time.

6.) Please abide by the appropriate "cyber etiquette." The following are considered rude and make the  messages difficult to read (Offenses to Rule 6 may qualify you for removal from the list, it is instated out of consideration of all members).
         6a.) Do not "yell" (type an entire message in all capital letters).
         6b.) Do not "speed" (type an entire message without punctuation).
         6c.) Do not "flame" (repeatedly send the same message to the list).
         6d.) Do not "waste" (send a single word, or single phrase post to the list, such as LOL).

Violators of the above guidelines will face the following circumstances:

"Strike 1" You will receive a friendly e-mail reminder containing the LOTS guidelines.*
"Strike 2" You will receive a friendly reminder of the guidelines as well as be restricted from posting to the list for one week.
"Strike 3" You are outta here! Your subscription to LOTS will be revoked and you will not be able to rejoin the group in the future.

* Sending a chain letter or any form of spam will automatically remove you from the group and ban you from rejoining WITHOUT ANY NOTICE.
